Website Rebuild & Performance Engineering Case Study
We build and optimized Looks Generous’ portfolio website using Next.js, GSAP, and Three.js, creating a visually rich, animation-driven, and fully responsive experience that showcases their architecture and interior design projects with cinematic quality.
Looks Generous is a high-end architecture and interior design studio that required a visually rich, performance-driven, and animation-heavy web experience. The goal was to create a premium interactive website that reflects the brand’s identity—modern, refined, artistic—while handling high-resolution imagery, scroll-based animations, and immersive 3D interactions.
The project demanded not just development, but continuous UI refinement, animation engineering, and deep responsiveness optimization across dozens of device sizes and aspect ratios.
We built the site using Next.js, GSAP, Three.js, and AWS, ensuring it remained fast, scalable, and pixel-perfect across all devices.
Understanding the key obstacles we needed to overcome to deliver exceptional results
Handling 3D canvas interactions, scroll-based animations, hover effects, and loader screens without glitches across multiple screen sizes.
Ensuring pixel-perfect layout and functionality across 50+ screen sizes, including mobile, tablet, desktop, and ultra-wide monitors.
Maintaining HD and ultra-HD images, reducing loading times, and using lazy-loading and blur-up techniques for smooth rendering.
Correcting metadata, improving SERP appearance, and fixing content alignment and readability issues.
Fixing hidden menu items, hover glitches, animation overlaps, and text misalignment while keeping the website fully accessible and easy to navigate.
The rebuilt Looks Generous website now delivers:

Looks Generous
Requirements analysis, Next.js setup, GSAP/Three.js integration, initial page builds, HD image replacement.
Responsive engineering for 50+ screen sizes, menu and animation fixes, layout alignment, hover effects.
Meta optimization, text corrections, contact form implementation, spam prevention, content verification.
AWS deployment, server setup, build pipeline configuration, final QA across devices and browsers.
Looks Generous appreciated the fully responsive rebuild, smooth animations, improved visual fidelity, and SEO enhancements. The client highlighted the flawless user experience, cross-device stability, and attention to detail in aligning the site with their brand identity.
